Welcome to

Our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible.

We support the World Health Organisation’s global public health recommendation, and local codes, calling for the exclusive breastfeeding of infants as the superior form of nourishment in the first six months of age and continued breastfeeding up to two years, combined with the safe introduction of appropriate complementary foods.

We also understand not all mothers are able to breastfeed for many reasons related to individual determinants, social attitudes and/or work and employment conditions. Our aim is to empower mothers who are not able, or choose not to (exclusively) breastfeed, with science based nutrition information in a way that does not discourage mothers from breastfeeding.

In preparation for and during breast feeding, we encourage a healthy, balanced diet for mums. Please be aware that combined breast and bottle-feeding in the first weeks of life may reduce the supply of breast milk, and reversing the decision not to breast feed is difficult. The social and financial implications of using infant formula should also be considered. For safe use of infant formula please refer to preparation instructions.
